Freedom

I am grateful for every branch of the service. I am grateful for those I love who have given that service to our country. I am proud of a husband who works to keep the city he serves safe. The safest harbor on earth should be our homes but without our local police and our countries military so much of our freedom would be lost. As we remember the events that torched our hearts nine years ago, let us resolve to stand for truth and the American freedoms we have been so blessed to enjoy. Here are the words to the Marine Hymn. Every time I read them I think of my brothers and my brother in law and I get a little teary. May God Bless the men and women who serve us and guard our freedoms so that we can sleep peacefully at night. We the privileged Americans have no idea how good we have it...Let us try to reflect, to ponder the great good we have in this blessed situation. For a moment put aside party differences, religious controversy, and differing opinions and just be GRATEFUL we live in this great country!
